Randal's music studio teaches beginner to advanced musicians to play music by ear, read music, and learn jazz, classical, contemporary music, folk and musical theater genres.  Although piano is the primary medium of instruction he works with students on music theory, song writing, composition and improvising on other instruments as well.  Randal teaches musicians from age five through adulthood and he'll meet students wherever they are at with no prior playing experience necessary.  The studio itself is a sunny, bright, open space and is located in the South End of Burlington, Vermont.  There is an acoustic piano, keyboard, accordion, guitars and ukuleles as well as the use of both new music technology for recording and listening and old stereo records, music texts and scores as resources for students' music education.
